Q: Can you sleep in a LoveSac? Is it comfortable?
A: Yes and Yes! I would recommend the SuperSac size if you plan on using it this way a lot. I am 6 foot tall and have no problems nodding off in my SuperSac. You will have to curl up some since the diameter is also 6′. If you are deciding between a futon or LoveSac then I would look into the PillowSac models. These can be laid flat on the floor like a traditional bed.

Q: Where is the cheapest place to buy a LoveSac?
A: If you are shopping for a brand new model then the best discounts can be found on my LoveSac Coupon Page. Craigslist and eBay are options for used models but make sure you shop local or else you’ll pay a small fortune in shipping. Note: Shipping is free for all orders on the LoveSac website.

Q: Do you have to buy a cover for a LoveSac?
A: Pretty much. It is not a required purchase but the “Naked Sacs” are not designed to be used alone. Similar to bed sheets and comforters, LoveSac covers provide the texture, protection and style to make your sac enjoyable.

Q: What is “fluffing” and how is it done?
A: Every couple days of use you’ll want to roll your LoveSac around and shake it to make it fluffy again. When you sit in your sac the foam sinks around you. After several uses the durafoam compacts and feels flat. The good news is after a minute of fluffing your sac should feel like new!

Q: How are the covers put on?
A: Similar to putting a bowling ball in a bag. You stuff the naked sac within the cover and use the zipper to close it up. The covers aren’t skin tight so the process is relatively easy.

Q: How long does it take get your new LoveSac delivered?
A: Mine took two weeks but the website says 2 to 4 weeks. I would guess it depends on the time of the year. Plan ahead or call customer service if you are buying one as a gift.

Ever since LoveSacs came about there has been much debate over how to move them from one address to the next. Sure, it was great when your new sac came in the mail shrunken down to 1/6 of its full size. You simply opened the duffel bag it came in and flopped it around the room until the Durafoam inside expanded.

Well, now you can reverse the process with ease! The LoveSac Shrink Kit comes with custom fit plastic bags and duffel carrier. All you need is a Shop Vac or vacuum with hose attachment. First you remove your designer cover and place the naked sac insert in one of the giant plastic bags. Thread the bag opening around your vacuum hose and literally suck the air out of your Durafoam!

There is no mess because you are NOT opening the naked sac that holds the stuffing. The naked sac cover is porous enough to allow air in and out of its fabric. All you are doing with the vacuum is removing air. The result is a shrink-wrapped sac that fits snugly in the new duffel bag you received with the kit. Viola, your sac is ready to move with you!

It sure beats the heck out of the old way…

After your insert has sat for an hour you can begin to break up the Durafoam. Start from the outside and break off chunks through the cover. As you are doing this you should be flipping your insert over several times. After you have broken the Durafoam up into manageable pieces, go back and break these pieces down further. Massage the pieces as you fet them down to about two inches in diameter. Wait 24 hours before putting your insert inside the cover.

Now comes the fun part, put the insert into your LoveSac cover and go to town! Sit in it, jump on it, and literally toss your sac around the room.  The more sit and flip your LoveSac the comfier it will become as the Durafoam continues to expand.

Keep in mind that it does take a couple days for the Durafoam to fully expand.  During this time you should be constantly fluffing your sac so that it gets a soft and even consistency.

As times goes on you will want to repeat this process every week or two.  Not only does this prevent “dead spots” from building, but it also keeps your Lovesac looking and feeling new.  One of the amazing features of Durafoam is its ability to bounce back to its original size.  It just takes a little work on your part to promote the process.
